Mike’s Buttermilk Doughnuts

If I had to choose one Palmer family recipe that was the most famous, it would be these doughnuts. The recipe is a little time consuming, and the dough can take a little practice to get it perfect, but your hard work will be rewarded tenfold. It is expected that Uncle Mike will make these at every family reunion, and the only way he will ever escape it is by death.
